Founding Beta Program
From Silver Thread Media, a production company based in Birmingham, Alabama.
The founding beta for Slate & Ledger Pro Studio, opening Q4 2026–Q1 2027, is for independent creators and boutique studios who want organization, contracts, and Chain of Title in one system before public launch. The beta runs as a small Founding Producer Beta Cohort — five seats, so every producer gets direct attention and real influence on the product.
The Founding Producer Beta Cohort
- Seat 1 — Silver Thread Media, LLC (Internal Builder / Alpha): building the platform while testing it on live productions.
- Seat 2 — Eighth Frame Studios: testing the Slate & Ledger Pro Studio app on A Box of Cereal, co-produced by Silver Thread Media.
- Seats 3–5 — OPEN: reserved for: a Narrative Short / Proof-of-Concept; an Indie Feature / Multi-Episode Series; a Documentary / Commercial / Multi-Slate producer.
What Beta Producers Receive
- A Lifetime Subscription to Slate & Ledger Pro Studio — $0 forever, including future updates: completing the beta locks in permanent Lifetime Founding Member status.
- White-Glove Migration Assistance: our team personally builds your current project folders, trackers, and templates into your custom portal.
- Direct Roadmap Influence: your feedback shapes what gets built.
How the Beta Runs
- Phase 1 (Weeks 1–2): Infrastructure & Bridge Validation — validating how Production Hub & Toolset folders and templates map into the web app.
- Phase 2 (Week 3): White-Glove Onboarding & Migration, including a 30-minute kickoff call.
- Phase 3 (Weeks 4–7): Live End-User Sprint — you run a real project while logging feedback as Boulders, Pebbles, or Polish.
- Phase 4 (Week 8): Exit Audit & Case Study Capture, and Lifetime Access Activation.
What We Ask of Beta Producers
- Test on an active project for 4–6 weeks.
- Weekly feedback through the Boulder / Pebble / Polish log.
- An exit interview at the end.
- A signed Beta NDA / Testing Agreement before onboarding.
How to join
Beta testers pay nothing — completing the beta earns a free lifetime subscription. (Public launch pricing will be $29/month, as listed on the Digital Studio Products page).
